Every CallTex agent says who it is calling for and that the call is recorded — at the start, in the caller’s language. This page explains what that means.
What callers hear
The agent names the business and states that the call is recorded. On outbound calls it also asks whether now is a good time and offers a callback. In collections calls it verifies that it is speaking to the account holder before saying anything about the account.
Why calls are recorded
To keep an accurate record of what was agreed (a booking, a promise to pay, a hand-over), to score the agent’s conduct against its rules, and to let the business review and correct its agent.
How to opt out
Say that you do not want to be recorded or contacted. The agent will end the call or hand over to a person, and a “do not call” mark is applied immediately and permanently for that business.
Who can hear the recording
The business whose agent took the call, and CallTex staff for support and quality purposes. AI infrastructure providers acting as our data processors, which may be located in other countries, under data-processing terms, process the audio to run the call; they do not receive the customer database and may not use the audio to train models.
Demo calls on this website
Demo calls are transcribed, not stored as audio, and are limited to three minutes. The transcript is kept for a limited period for abuse prevention and quality review.
