About

Built for the way people really talk on the phone

CallTex started with a simple frustration: every voice AI we tried could pass for a receptionist in a quiet demo, then fell apart the moment a real caller said “Saturday, eight, four of us” and switched language halfway through.

The CallTex team testing a call around a table

So we built one around real phone calls. Not scripted phrases — the way people actually book a table, ask about a facial or explain why an invoice is late. Then we put seven languages on the same line, switching when the caller does.

The second thing we cared about was rules. An AI that makes phone calls can do damage quickly, so the limits — recording notices, do-not-call, allowlists, quiet hours, a kill switch — live in the code where a prompt cannot talk them away. Every call is scored on those rules afterwards.

We are a small team. What is on this site is what the product does today; when something is not ready yet, we say so.
